Eclipse Entertainment began as an entertainment company. They started out with propaganda films in the fledgling Pan-Solar Consortium, moved on to general entertainment of all genres, and then branched out into 'reality vids' to serve an audience ever more hungry for thrills.

Eclipse Entertainment's entry into corporate warfare was fuelled not by a real desire for those market shares, but for the shows they could produce with body cameras. Their raiders are as feared and admired as anyone in their profession, but they also tend to be chosen for their 'look.' Their ability to turn even a defeat into a high drama is frustrating to no end to the other gigacorps.

Journalism is Dead

Journos, even freelance ones, ultimately tend to work for Eclipse. Their hold on the news profession is absolute, and they absolutely will win any PR battle they get into. The media giant is one of the most feared gigacorps, and tangling with them is ill-advised.
