The Sparkling Cinder
Passing through the Dusk Streets of the Ring of Masses, almost every building looks the same. Run down, piecemeal constructions that speak of a populace constantly on the cusp of starvation. Settled on one of the darkest streets is a building that seems to stand in defiance of that darkness. At one time, The Sparkling Cinder would have been unremarkable in the Dusk Streets, but now it stands tall like a mansion amongst farmer's hovels. It is three stories tall and boardwalks and ramshackle hall ways connect it to several of the nicer hovels attached to it. The walls show signs of scorching all over the front walls, interior support beams, and much of the interior furnature. Locals say that the slightly metallic, shiny golden paint is to credit with the survival of the Inn.
The building was formerly a church, and converted to an orphenage, and finally became the Sparkling Cinder. Arabelle Mistsplitter the owner, has maintained the original vision of the building, using it as a place to spread good will and charity, while also supporting herself, her aged father Ekeric Mistsplitter, and her boyfriend Nathon Dusskon (Dusskon is a family name for those who grew up on the streets without tracable family.) The interior of the inn is filled with iconography depiciting Aethon Heartlight, the destruction of an Eldur, and the building of Innerith.
