Moons of Visctheria

The three moons of Visctheria held significant meaning for the citizens of the world, each in their own way. Some worhsiped the moons as signs of the Goddess, Brodea, while others studied their effect on the world in a scientific manner. Each of the moons also held a deep secret, only to be discovered once Visctherians traveled into the stars.

Morio

The blue moon of Morio is the moon of power, covered in the bright blue Power Prismatics that allow for the strongest magics. The full moon, when alone in the sky, can force magic to be stronger than most mages can handle, forcing them to draw from their life force rather than the components and Prismatics at their disposal.

Elmenor

Elmenor is bright red in the night sky, the moon of Benevolence shining like a second sun in the Visctherian sky. This moon is covered in Benevolence Prismatics and grants great healing power to plants grown in its moonlight. The best healings are done under a full Elmenor night, allowing the healer to harness the full amount of its power.

Kilyn

The pure white surface of Kilyn shines as the moon of Knowledge, covered in the beautiful white Knowledge Prismatics that allow for giant leaps foward in technology and science with every use. While Knowledge Prismatics can be dangerous to use, few acknowledge the risks when searching for the information they offer.

History

The moons of Visctheria have been growing Prismatics on their surface since long before their discovery; no one truly knows how the crystals got there, or why they began to grow on Visctheria. After the Prismatics began to be used on Visctheria, eyes quickly turned towards the moons once space travel became prevalent.

Once the mining expiditions began onto the moons of Visctheria, the Prismatics quickly vanished, harvested and used until the moons were dry of magic. As a result, the Prismatics ceased to grow on Visctheria's surface, creating a race to obtain magical components that drained the already unstable planet of resources it could not give.
