Valianic Pollution Crisis

The Valianic Crisis was caused by mining activities from Coalspring that caused much of the Valian region to suffer, not only from Imperial Black Lung, but from pollution and waste entering the groundwater that fed countless farms.  The resulting poisonings led to the deaths of hundreds of people, and thousands of livestock.  The crisis was only contained after the collapse of the Imperium Valianum and proper investment by the Republic of Tersten.
