Parliament of the Republic of Tersten

The Parliament of the Republic of Tersten (Not to be confused with the old Tersten Parliament), is the meeting place for the various bodies of the Republic of Tersten.  It is one of the largest and most important buildings on Tersten, lying in its own district of Tersten City.  From here, many aspects of government are managed, as well as settling disputes and issues between the varying semi-autonomous provinces and nations that are part of the greater Republic.  It has its own subway, housing complex, and is considered by many to be a completely self-sufficient city within a city. 
The Parliament was constructed between 45 and 47 PC, following the founding of the Republic of Tersten, and the subsequent overthrowing of the Tersten State, with the previous Tersten Parliament being destroyed in 42 PC by the Tersten Resistance.  As a completely new building, it was constructed with all the advantages of access to Solar Markets can bring, and the Parliament has its own dedicated wing for handling relations with the Sol Government and the Second Lordanian Republic.
The complex also contains the various embassies of Solar Member States, with the Martian Embassy being the largest and most funded of them.
