Harelstone Prison

Harelstone Prison, located within the Harelstone Plains, was the first and largest penal colony established on Tersten by the Pinascimate Penal Authority. It served as the primary administration hub from its establishment in 0 PC until the Harelstone Fire destroyed much of the Prison and led to its survivors following Jonathan Tersten to establish Freetown, modern day Tersten City.  It was rebuilt to serve as a garrison for the Tersten State, and was taken without bloodshed during the Great Revolution. Since the founding of the Republic of Tersten, the Prison has served as a major tourist destination and a museum dedicated to the history of the Penal Colonies.
It is located inside the modern town of Harelstone, which was built up around the former prison.
