Ashinga River

The Ashinga River is a large river in Yukela. It denotes the natural boundary between Chandra, Padrauna and Yukela. The Ashinga is fed by glacial meltwater from the Yukela Mountains, where it flows down into the Kadari Reach, in North Yukela. It passes Dodori, and then flows through the town of Lauriya.  The Darin River flows into the Ashinga near the town of Vingni.  The Ashinga then enters Bhatar Lake, north of the city of Zazi. It then flows out from Bhatar Lake, and is joined by the Ishinga River further downstream. It then passes the city of Afansoc-Nandikhila, and the towns of Barati and Noayong, into the Ashinga Estuary as it flows out into the South Tersten Sea.

Ecosystem

The river has large populations of badgers, deers, foxes, and other mammals roaming across its entire length. The river is populated with fish, and salmon travel upstream to spawn in the Kadari Reach.
