Nouna
One of the oldest cities to date. Nouna stands tall and proud along the northern coast of the Sautahn Isles. It's ruled by Shioto Takasaki, also known as the Stone Lord. Nouna is known for it's tall heights and old religious sects and conservative beliefs.
Government
While Technically ruled by Takasaki Ukusai, It is the Moon priestesses who make most of the important decisions while Shioto carries them out. They are the mind and he is the metal.
Defences
The City is built on a cliffside that, overtime, was layed and layed with stone and brick, placing it well above envading armies. Plus, with the added bonus of well made wall reinforced with lava forged steel. Make the city extremely hard to break through, and their port system allows them to continue to operate while undersiege.
Industry & Trade
The primary exports in order are, white moon leaf and wheat from the southern valley, iron from the Irudu Moutains and silver from the Desu mountains. Silver however, is also commonly used in religious practice from the moon prietesses, as well as white moon leaf. White Moon Leaf is their most famous export and is often used for its magic components by priestesses.
The city and region it rules over are generally self sustaining and have few imports from the rest of the country except for luxury goods like spices and dyes.

Infrastructure
With the developement of lava forged steel and unwavering ambition, the Blue Tower, Batohitahn was built. A project that took an entire generation to complete, Shioto's father had unfortunetly passed away before seeing the finished tower which has become the new castle of the city, replacing the old castle. Many other buildings have followed suit to create great tall buildings that interconnect.
Some say, their buildings take many inspirations from the Rothen Architecture, being very blocky and interconnected.

Guilds and Factions
Nouna is home to the Moon Priestess and houses the Guroshu, a collection of monster hunters swarn to protect their borders from minotaurs, goblins, and other strange creatures, although their home base is located in Onya.
History
Is one of the oldest cities in the Sautahn Empire, however, the Library of Roshu was destroyed by a tsunami, rendering all records to dust. This even was known as the wave of sin which is believed to have happened due to too heretical behavior. It is estimated this event took place around 6100 - 6200 but all knowledge of such events cannot be confirmed.
