Dragon Island
The home of the Sautahnese Dragon Lords. Heralds of the embers of the Dragons. The island gets it's name from the legends that dragons used to live on the islands over five thousand years ago but have since dissapeared.
Geography
The island's central feature is the Burning Mountain. An active Volcano where Dragons are rumored to live in. To the west coast are many black and grey wastes unable to grow food on, to the east are fairly fertile plains that provide decent crops for the inhabitains. Most of the land is many from central mountains and rolling plains on the coast.
Fauna & Flora
Little life becides myths of dragons and salamanders live on this island. The majority of the island is settle by the Sautahnese with very small populations of goblins. The most common known living animal is the komodo which to some is a religious icon and to other's is food for the hunt.
Natural Resources
Dragon island is home to a strange material that is said to be dragon bone, commonly found underground. It makes for extremely light and strong building materials that allow for much taller buildings. The dragon bone material is also very durrable against heat and are said to be unmeltable.
