The Origin of Luum

Luum used to be the only god in the realm. He used to has a light in his heart. He could create life. He created the world with humans representing him to take care of Earth. Sadly, human in nature isn't anything like him. In fact, it led the Earth todestry itself. To fix his mistake he descended down to clean all filth they're causing.

He disguised himself as a weak wanderer with a staff. Everytime he arrived and faced wars and corruptions, he casted the power out of the staff, turning everyone to dust. With his blind, relentless conquests to cure the Earth, it became the era with no sunshine.

During his travel to other towns, he met the helping woman, who treated him with kindness and empathy. He fell in love with her. Unfortunately, he couldn't stay with her for too long - he's a god and his mission wasn't over yet.

He continue to blow humans up, towns upon town. cities upon cities, until eventually, the most corrupt city on earth, according to all rumors he got along the journey, had been wiped out. However, it was a shock, that the woman he met was there, being killed by accident. The truth was, It was her hometown.

Realizing that even the bad place has some good in it, he felt heavily guilty by any mean possible. Without her, he cannot be loved. Without love, he cannot be self. And so, he revived her and the innocent townspeople. She forgave of what he's done as he apologized and acknowledge that not everyone is evil, as the humanity can fill the balance by themselves.

Therefore, he gave her the power of life, turning her into a goddess. Together, they ascended back to The Sky, where they can maintain the world balance - all day and night.

Before he gone, he sent the stuff back to earth, striking at the last spot he casted the spell. He still had a faith in humanity, but if things started to turn sour, he could always come back in ready to restore it. The spot then became The Shrine of Luum and the town's rubbles became Lumus. The descandents of the woman has been guarding the place since - with the prestigious name Anan-Limus, the Protector of Limm and Luum.

Remember. Every Luum has Limm, and every Limm has Luum. They always oppose each other but also keep the bond. They are the ultimate definition of balance.

Sorry for the double like!   I love his backstory. It is sad, but I like that he learnt that there is good even in the worst places.
