The Hags

My entry for the January "A Family Affair" Competition. Didn't have as much time as I thought during the time to flesh it out so this is pretty bare bones/rubbish but want to submit at least something.

There is a cry in the wind. Do you hear it?

Head

At the head of the family is the Great Mother, the Winter Queen.

• The Winter Queen

This ancient being is said to be the oldest living creature in the known universe. Legends speak of the Winter Queen mothering all life, from the mortals of Terralba to the Gods of the Aelfspace, even the two great Dragons of Light and Dark. After assisting the Gods in their sculpting of the mortal realm she now dictates the nature and seasons, helping keep a natural balance to all things atop her Winter Throne, the tallest mountain in the world.

Below her is her 12 Hag children, dispersed across the region of Skìrah each holding a Throne of Nature.

The Noble Hag, Black Ethel rules from her Throne atop the Gladiator Peak in Dawnsmarch.

• Olga Titchwallow

The Guardian Hag, Cackling Olga rules from her Throne atop Mount Aurora in Streamwood.

• Morgana Frogwart

The Mothering Hag, Dismal Morgana rules from her hidden Throne.

• Polly Knucklebones

The Dethroned Hag, Dread Polly's Throne was destroyed by the Spring Hag when she sided with the Golden King and now rules from a makeshift Throne in the Bekkar Marshes in Frostern.

• Agatha Wormwiggle

The Good Hag, Nana Agatha rules from her Throne within the east side of the Tokapul Mines in Mountainwatch.

• Agnes Bonechewer

The Autumn Hag, Granny Agnes rules from her hidden Throne.

• Mathilda Greenteeth

The Summer Hag, Old Mathilda traded her soul for her Throne which lies at the foot of the ocean off the coast of Mountainwatch.

• May Gristlegums

The Icy Hag, Sister May rules from her Throne atop Mount Steel in Valhol Hold.

• Olga Middenheap

The Butcher Hag, Rotten Olga rules from her Throne in an offshore cave in Roghavern Hold.

• Ursula Toestealer

The Sniffer Hag, Turtleback Ursula rules from her hidden Throne.

• Agnes Twigmouth

The Matron Hag, Wicked Agnes rules from her Throne within the west side of the Tokapul Mines in Dawnsmarch but runs a manipulative orphanage on a remote hilltop.
