Overview

Spyder is a suave but approachable wanderer always seen strolling around with a book in hand. He is never in a hurry and is totally amiable, often being stopped in the street by passers-by for a chat. He is friendly with all who meet him and often frequents multiple shops and stores along every street upon which he wanders. He often seen in local inns tucked away in a corner reading, or on occasion telling raucous tales with drinking buddies - of which he appears to have thousands. He is known to go to local libraries on occasion to trade books or exchange tips on finding new tomes.

Spyder is a skilled gatherer of intelligence, and has often made his money through influence peddling and the obtaining of secrets. He is of utmost discretion in his operations and seeks only to make it known that despite what he knows - the target is perfectly safe. He considers himself to be like a Safe that seeks only to contain and know - but never to let out the secrets it has. Needless to say he was both admired and feared in Atlantis for his knowledge of the inner court and it was only the Royal Secret Service - the Shaded Southern Fleet as they are known who were able to uncover his operations but were never able to uncover who was at the center of the network. 

Spyder wisely left the area - and now seeks employ and to some degree - purpose.

Open to employment - he is a distant cousin of Maskmaster Shifty the Mirror of Pavis Thieves Guild. He will prefer to work with someone known to Shifty and of some connection to the Thieves Guild.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Former head of a spy ring in and around Atlantis that has recently been shut down. He is now on the run (even though no one knows who he is or what he looks like) and seeking to restart his network operations in return for safety and some form of purpose.

YET he is able to fit in with any conversation - instinctively choosing which phrases to use to gain the trust of his companions.

History

Shifty and Spyder are more than just cousins - they are in fact siblings. But neither knows who is the eldest. The two of them are Doppelgangers and they make a living in the Underworld of the Rogues and Assassins.

Spyder is a slightly handsome, young book-engrossed individual who often appears distracted by some text he always has in his hand - reading about this or that subject. He proclaims himself to be a student of the world and often regales his listeners with tales of his travels and adventures.
