Lanavess

The Southwesternmost of the Vermos Kingdoms, Lanavess stretches from the Sea of Passage to the south all the way to the Blackwater and Kern rivers to the north. Said to be the first land that Lanavar raised from the waters, its landscape is dominated by the Anvil Peaks mountain range, with the great capital city of Hammerfall rising up from the center of the great stones. In its south lie the twin cities of Thul-Garad and Thul-Alas, which serve as trading hubs with the Provinces of Huan, their lakes constantly filled with the traffic of trade ships. The Tempered Forest lies in the southeast, on the banks of Lake Scyse and the Hallowfax River, home of the famous ironpines and their bark that is said to be strong as steel.
The Elves and Dwarves of Lanavess have always held great pride in their roots within the region despite the growing diversity in the area since the founding of the Vermos Kingdoms, and many still make the pilgrimage to Hammerfall from all over Malagar once a year during the Feast of Beginnings.
