Orc

Orcs are a scarred and feared people, rarely seen in the cities of men and often met with blades or prayers. Towering and thick-boned, with skin like worn stone and eyes that burn with a restless glint, they are believed to have been forged during the Age of Woe by the Sundered Covenant—a fallen order of sorcerers who dominated central Imorea for centuries.

The orcs were not born, but made—sculpted from foul rites and abyssal energies to be soldiers, thralls, and executioners in a war no one won. Cursed from their creation, they carry within them an unquiet hunger for violence, said to be the residue of the magic that shaped them. Some orcs resist it. Others embrace it. Few escape it.

Most folk regard orcs with dread or pity, seeing in them the legacy of an age better left buried. But there are tales, rare and often silenced, of orcs who wander not for war, but for meaning. Of those who try to shape their own fate, despite a past that was never theirs to choose.
