Monarch

The Monarch sits at the highest point of noble authority in the Mornlands, ruling by both lineage and divine right. Their word becomes law, their seal binds treaties, and their duty is to uphold order, justice, and the sacred balance between Crown, Church, and realm. While power is often shared—or contested—by powerful nobles and Church authorities, the Monarch remains the final authority in matters of war, succession, and law.

To most, the Monarch is a distant figure, glimpsed only in coinage, proclamations, or banners carried by royal agents. But their presence is always felt, for all titles flow downward from the Crown, and all oaths ultimately bind to it.
