Mistholm
Mistholm is a storm-lashed island realm veiled in perpetual fog, where ancient magic, lost rites, and strange creatures linger just beneath the surface of daily life. Steep valleys, haunted forests, and sharp coastal cliffs give way to villages that feel older than maps, where the wind carries both church bells and whispers from the trees.
Though conquered by the Mornish Crown generations ago, Mistholm remains culturally distinct. Its people, known as the Mistfolk, are a blend of Mornish settlers, Ashborn traditions, and deep-rooted island customs. Feudal lords serve under ducal authority, but many bow just as readily to local saints, ancestral spirits, or forest bargains.
Life in Mistholm is hard and strange—a land where oaths carry weight, shadows have rules, and travelers do well to ask before taking firewood.
