Grand Ascent

The Grand Ascent is the promised reward for those who live in accordance with Holy Law, the final purification and elevation of the soul into the Divine Order. It is not a paradise of ease or indulgence - but a state of eternal purpose, where the soul is made pure and becomes one with the Architect’s design.

In the teachings of the Church of Holy Law, the Ascent is described as a passage through celestial refiners, where all mortal stain is burned away. The soul that endures this trial becomes something greater, harmonious, and whole - no longer a self, but a functioning part of the celestial mechanism that upholds the Machinery of the World.

Those who attain the Grand Ascent are said to dwell beyond time, singing in the silent halls of Law, ensuring the stars remain fixed and justice turns as it should. Saints, martyrs, and paragons are believed to have reached this state, sometimes glimpsed in dreams or moments of holy clarity.

To the faithful, the Ascent is not escape, but completion. To stray from it is to delay one's place in the Machinery. To deny it entirely is to risk falling into the Abyss, where even purpose is devoured.
