Demon
Demons are the wretched spawn of the Abyss, entities of unmaking, madness, and hunger. They are not simply evil spirits - they are what happens when Law breaks, when reality frays, when something once whole is reduced to something unnatural.
The Church of Holy Law teaches that demons are the Abyss given form, creatures that exist only to corrupt, destroy, and defy the divine order of the Architect. They have no singular form or purpose - some are shapeless horrors, others mockeries of the living, and some wear human faces, whispering lies that unravel the minds of the weak.
Demons are drawn to heresy, suffering, and places where Law has failed. They are born from unholy rituals, lingering curses, and the forgotten remnants of those who strayed too far into forbidden knowledge. Some believe certain demons were once men, twisted by their own pursuit of power or knowledge, their forms shattered into something monstrous.
To bargain with a demon is to court destruction. Even those who think they can control them will find themselves changed in ways they never intended.
