Age of Distant Twilight
The Age of Distant Twilight is the earliest known era in Tenebria’s history—a primordial age, said to have existed tens of thousands of years ago, long before the world was fully formed. According to the Church of Holy Law, it was the first stages of the Architect forming the world, when the sky held no stars, and the land was yet unbound.
Few true records remain. It is spoken of in fragments: a time of unfinished beings, drifting continents, and things that swam within the deep primordial waters. Some say the leylines were laid then, drawn by forces that could not be named, and that even now, echoes of that twilight age stir beneath the deepest ruins.
In the eyes of Law, it was an era of formless potential and dangerous freedom, ended only when the Architect imposed shape, law, and separation upon the raw, chaotic world.
This era was followed by the Elden Age.
