Balo Blackiron

Balo is a mountain dwarf. Coming across Romeindra when she was a nine-year-old in the Damarien and Delirium Travelling Troupe, he offered Morran and Thefir Damarien some money for the girl, promising he could make her into a star and that her earnings would be sent back to the family. While he did manage to make Rome well-known across Temshai, he severely mistreated her and never sent a single coin back to her parents. Twenty years later, on YA 2269, The Panther, day 6, Rome escaped from him in Beacon, joining a party of adventurers. Balo is assumed to be looking for his star, wanting her, and the profits she brings him, back under his control.
