Vekhettophyre
The ancient term for the vehicle form of the Vekhet Sphere when it is properly invoked. Comfortable arm chairs form from the plasma of the floor to accommodate the riders, and the interior is covered entirely in Progenitor runes, combinations of which perform various functions. The most used function was, of course, it's flying feature. It has many other key combinations, some few of which will be detailed elsewhere.

Weapons & Armament
There are quite a few of them, tho designed for research and terraforming. They were never meant for the purposes of war. With the right key combinations, gouts of flame, bolts of lightning, various saws and drills on articulated plasma work arms can be called into use. There is a disintegrator for rock and land formation, a Ray of Frost nodule, a pincer/recovery module (claws). All made of nanoplasma, all nearly invisible even before the cloaking features are engaged.

Armor and defense
There is an innate cloaking feature that is enabled by default. It can be disabled with the right key combination. The nanoplasma shell itself is impervious to all. However, the spheres' position in space and time can be manipulated...violently. Violently enough to kill those inside, like they had been trapped in a cosmic billiard-ball. Designed for research and terraformation, it was never meant for long journeys. It is susceptible to being blown off course by gusts of wind and errant air elementals
Communication Tools & Systems
It can communicate as per the Tongues spell, the Sending spell, telepathy, and in all radio and psionic frequencies. Each one would need its own key combination, of course.
Sensors
It can zoom in, or out; create a real-time 3D image of the terrain up to a mile away; True Sight and Infravision, Ultravision, mass spectrometers, LiDAR. All with the correct key combinations, certainly. Laser imaging sensors can be used as weapons, as per Scorching Ray.
Additional & auxiliary systems
Underwater recovery systems built into the sphere provide many different benefits while travelling under water. It can stay submerged up to forty-eight hours, has three six-million-candle-power nanoplasma lights, and can organically create a portal for leaving and reentering the sphere while submerged.
Hangars & docked vessels
They are, and have been, lost. Gone from the lands, apart from the doings of mortals altogether.
