Gold Mines of the Grey Mountain
The gold mines running through Mount Grey like capillaries through a beating heart, are said to be endlessly deep and eternally fruitful. The truth is that the Llank-ryu monks have managed the resource wisely ever since they discovered the rich veins of ore and gems circa CE850.
Geography
Amidst the rolling plains of its lowlands, and the jagged peaks of its highlands, Mount Grey is a beautiful and rugged home for these veins of ore. The mountain rises from the depths of the sea, soaring to a magnificent height before reaching its peak amidst the low lying clouds.
Ecosystem
Underground flora and fauna reacting to a light cycle provided by an immense fungal system of hair like strings that have embedded themselves into the granite bedrock of the mountain. Called photofilaments, this miraculous fungus has given rise to many more types of simple life indigent only to the Mines of Mount Grey .
Ecosystem Cycles
There are no seasons under Mount Grey , but the light of the photofilaments does ebb and flow to a celestial rhythm known only to the monks of Llank-ryu.

Fauna & Flora
The mine shaft floors are kept pleasantly coated in moss by the careful curation of the Llank-Ryu monks. This moss in turn retains moisture and recycles the air, creating the perfect environment for several hundred species of insect, arachnid, rodent, mantis and many more. Glowing luna moths flit here and there throughout the mines, creating an over all enchanting environment for the monks to work in.
