Ishi Mirror

An Ishi Mirror (also known as World Mirror) is a one-way-window to another dimension. Every single mirror gives insight to another space and time, which is chosen randomly and cannot change once the mirror has been activated. Different forms of Ishi Mirrors are purchasable, even some Juru traders have them, for they are the most popular form of entertainment in the modern Teel.

1. Construction

The glass for the Ishi Mirror is made of sand, Athem and Vermillion Powder. Every skilled molder in the country has their own recipe, based on these three basic ingredients.   Great amounts of Athem are incorporated into the material during the founding process. The concentrated essence stimulates a connection to the Countless Things, causing an overload of essential power when a charmstone is inserted into the framework. After the activation of the mirror, a moment, a sequence or the ongoing current present of a randomly chosen being from the Countless Things is captured within the glass, depending on the quality of the material.       2. History   The technology behind the construction of the Ishi Mirror is based on the power of the Athem. It took Thos twelve years to study the Countless Things and to find a chemical that was strong enough to function as a stable conductor between the thousandfold essence of things and the real object. Consequently, Ishi Mirrors are irrefutable proof for the multiverse theory, which is well known from old Harkom stories and predicted by the Lead Alchemist in his first manifesto.     The Original (frameless) Ishi Mirror
