The Silver Dragon

Famous Play

Reynard's best known work, The Silver Dragon is set in a fictional kingdom that strongly resembled the politics of Eldoria of his day. The lead - a prince who falls in love with a dragon - is said to be a sharp criticism of the d'Uthar's Warlord of the day. While wildly popular in Reynard's native Phelandria, many of thought he had gone perhaps too far when his troupe was summoned to Karradone to perform it. Refusing to change the production at all, Reynard's troupe performed to a packed house, receiving a standing ovation and, to the surprise of many, kept their heads.
