Ork Lords
Traditionally led by House Gorich, the Ork Lords is title given to a loose cabal of Flind houses along southwestern border of the Flietch-ta Empire, centered around Martidock. They gained their name due to their proximity to the Orkish Hills and their propensity to partake in the past time of Ork hunting.
Historically, the houses in this block have banded together, voting as a group in the Council of the Crescent Moon and throwing their support to whichever of the great houses offered them the most lucrative deals. Their influence has waxed and waned over the years as they typically hold anywhere from 8 to 15 seats on the council. While their power has never again approached that of the early years of the Empire, when House Gorich was considered a major house in its own right, the Ork Lords have been gaining in strength over the past few generations by allying with the Emperor as Martidock would serves as a gateway to the Empire from the west.
