Zennonaize Lady and Scientist

With only a dozen horses and rocky stretch of pasture along the lower slopes of the frigid ridge of the Rheuthengage Mountains that reaches into the heart of the Malpighien Steppes to her name, Onado made her living less as a landed lady and more as a craftswoman. Her trade - horse whispering - paid well enough to support a dozen or so servants and pair of wagons as she travelled the confederacy restoring calm to stallions who had seen one too many battles. Her travels enabled her to witness the wide range of characteristics present in the horses she saw and she began to catalogue them. By virtue of their physical appearance, she began to understand which horses would serve which of the many roles in Zennonaize society the best by subtle traits such a the density of their hoofs or length of their femurs. Of the course of her life, her journal catalogued a dozen varieties - or breeds as she called them - of horse, detailing the characteristics of each. She passed her teachings down to her two daughters who began to us that knowledge to grow the families holdings.
