Middens
Traditionally the boundary between the Menter and Galkin Plains, the Middens are a series of low, rocky hills. The rich iron deposits in the region give the earth here a reddish color that bleeds into the Syntix River which drains the hills to the east. To the west, Lake Forne serves as a home to a colony of flamingos that fill its waters pink with their feathers each summer.
Filled with prey like goats, antelope, and other small herbivores, the hills are ruled by several prides of dark maned, unusually large lions that have become popular subjects of trophy hunts from so-called outdoorsmen from Mon Finn.
