High Father of Anderi
Despite his age and bald pate, the High Father still has a devout presence that commands a room. Clearly the holiest person in any gathering, whether wearing the white and golden robes of his office or simple dressing gown. His dark eyes gleam brightly with life and his posture is immaculate.
Coming from humble origins, the son of a street sweeper in Karradone, he has retained his connection to the common folk that make up the bulk of his flock. Worshipers of Anderi are always surprised at the humility and understanding he displays for the meanest of their woes. At the same time, his years of service have given him the ability to in the interact with the nobles, merchants and even the imperial family; he is the one person in all of Eldoria to whom the Emperor bows.
His steel resolve and unwavering faith have served him well over the years. Known as a moderate in term of doctrine and its interpretation, he has become a bastion of light against more radical factions, such as the growing power of the Azermathian branch of the church and the Holy Legion of Light. Many worry about his death, given his age, and what that portends for the future of the church once his steady hand is removed from the helm.
