Nerrid Clerk
Often seen wearing a beret (a style that his uncle Olaf Samsonsonsonsonsonsonsonson made famous) - typically with a feather through it - Leif takes great pride in his suits. Trim vests of ostentatious colors - either matching his feature or carefully contrasting it - and sharply pressed dark trousers and highly shined shoes make up his day-to-day wear. He has no need for glasses but wears a simple monocle just for looks and almost always has black and silver cane handy to complete his ensemble.
Still working through his early years of service, Leif, like many Nerrid officials, is obsessed with organization and filled with a deep love for bureaucracy. Like others he is quite diligent in his duties and proud to serve the Nerrid Alliance as a master scheduler for government officials. This position - in addition to be quite demanding - offers him the ability to get his prodigious nose into all sorts of business. After all, in order to manage the schedules of Small Council members he needs to know where everyone is and what their plans are. And once one knows with whom this particular Nerrid is meeting or where that one is going, one can learn all sorts of interesting tidbits. Like any good governmental clerk, Leif also loves to gossip and there is little that gives him more pleasure than trading secrets confidentiality.
Unless, of course, he can reject poorly filled out paperwork. There is a joy in using his red "rejected" stamp that one simply can't find in other aspects of life.
