Janus Forsbar

Zennonaize Author

Janus always considered himself a collector of tales, rather than a proper author. Still, it was he that memorialized the tales told by soldiers and serfs on the Malpighien Steppes. Working long days, he penned nearly four dozen scrolls in his cramped writing. Each containing its own tale, the scrolls were presented to a young Dono who so missed the campfires of his younger years on campaign that he commissioned them to be copied "a thousand times and shared across the Confederacy". As result, preserved these tales for future generations. While the work has spread the art of Zennonaize story telling east in the lands of the Inner Seas, it has also effectively stopped their evolution. While story tellers still add their own embellishments to each tale, none dare deviate from its canonized form.
