Founder of Nerridon
One of the great sociological geniuses of Nerrid society, Franz first organized Nerrid into an Alliance in 1543 BC, believing that as small folk, banding together could help them better defend themselves against the dangers of the world. He encouraged the various Nerrid families to connect their burrows beneath the Frungof Mountains via tunnels to facilitate the sharing of food and other resources. The tunnels also could provide escape routes should any families’ burrow be invaded, something he himself used on several occasions after his alternate passion - Owlbear research - went slightly awry. Within a century the interconnected burrows began to add common spaces, becoming the town of Nerridon.
