Cith Rashni

Flind Emperor

Another member of House Cith to hold the Imperial throne in Pash-ti, Rashni had a largely unremarkable reign. He managed to maintain the power his forbearers had wrested from the other great houses but did little to expand it. Focused instead on meditation and expanding his own understanding of the spirit, many Flind scholars mourn his aversion to writing. Instead, he thoughts about ideas about how one might focus their spirit most effectively have been lost to the annals of time.

Perhaps it was this focus on the self, and not on politics, that lead to his lengthy reign. In his nearly quarter century in power he did set an tone in the Flietch-ta Empire toward visitors from the west. It was Rashni that welcomed the wayward Human Yarmin Knowlchuck to the Imperial Lodge as a guest. It is said that the Emperor himself taught the strange man the Flind tongue and that the two had a two decade long conversation about the nature of the self and it was only after Rashni's death that Knowlchuck bade farewell to the Empire.
