An Eldorian of over fifty winters, the General keeps himself in peak physical condition. His hair has matured to a respectable silver, and is kept cropped short, as befits a soldier. He carries himself with the confidence of a man who has won dozens of battles and expects the obedience of those to whom he speaks. A good general in his day, his elder years have and easy assignment have softened du Champes – if only from marble to granite. These days he enjoys lecturing to junior officers and exploring fine vintages of wine more than enough to not relish the prospects of another military campaign.
