Ancient Eldorian Language Group
A language in its own right, ancient Eldorian was the first language spoken by humans. It has since evolved and, given the power of the The Empire of Eldoria, its modern version is the most common language on Tarien.
Azermathian, Eldorian, Yatian, and The Zennonaize Confederacy all grew out of the Ancient Eldorian tongue, and all belong to the language group of the same name. Each has a twenty-six-letter alphabet and follows basic phonetics.

A Language in Its Own Right
As human languages evolve faster than non-human ones, the difference between Ancient and Modern Eldorian is significant. Characters can take Ancient Eldorian as a language, should they so choose. Typically, characters choose the written form, as few speak the tongue but ancient texts can still be found.
