Diminutive even for a Nerrid, Allison, or "Big Al" as she has become known since her acquisition of Al's & Ales has bright eyes that are windows to both shrewd mind and a tenancy nature. Meticulous in her management of the establishment, she bemoans the lack of Nerrid help available in Grennig to run the place and is amazed that Human can accomplish anything in their short, disorganized lives. Despite her outward comments toward humanity, she has a kind greeting for everyone who frequents her establishment and seems to know business of every soul in on the peninsula. A sharp dresser, she prefers trousers and ruffled shirts to dresses, though will resign to wearing one for special events. She will not, however, tolerate a lady's hat, as she claims the feathers and brims overshadow her nose. "After all," she often says with smile "I have to show off my assets. How do you think I got my nickname?"
