Alline is the most of famous of a half-dozen or so Imperial Legionnaires that vanished into the Narmouth Desert after skirmish with caravan robbers. Like the rest of her fellow soldiers, Alline claimed that their unit did not face brigands, but instead were attacked by pack of half-lion, half-human creatures that tore through the unit with wild abandon. Unlike the other members of her unit, however, she did not dispute the fact that they disobeyed orders and fled the battle, leaving their captain to face the creatures all alone. Her testimony sealed the fate of her comrades and earned her no clemency as the lot was convicted of cowardice and desertion and subsequently hung.
