Sheer-Stone Range

This mountain range gets its name for its sheer slopes and near vertical cliffs. These mountains seem almost sheer spikes protruding from the earth and less so normal mountains, though because of this they have not been that well explored, so none can truly say for certain how impassable the region is. The lowlands within are believed to be quite fertile environments however, though home to a horror show of beasts, if the raids that come from the west into civilized lands on occasion would imply. Vicious Greenskins, Yeti, and even Frost Joten. The stone in these mountains is believed to be valuable if it could be quarried or mined, specifically for slate, shale, or other sheer type crystalized rock formations.
