Fiolag Alec Varnis

A strong and towering example of a man, prim and proper, hair clean cut, moustache and beard well groomed. There are streaks of grey showing amongst the oaken brown, but his eyes twinkle with youth beyond his age, their soft amber piercing in a unique way. He carries himself as one would expect of a decorated veteran and man of the sea, his gait rolling, his strides a little off center, as if used to the ground beneath him pitching and bucking at a steady pace. One would expect nothing less from Former Admiral Alec Varnis, now at fifty-four, having retired his commission to return home to family duty and take his father's seat as Fiolag of the Higveld Baruntacht but fourteen months ago. He is a pillar of strength for his community, however he is also known to be a tough and hardened man, and as such, can make divisive decisions and decrees, and has in the fourteen months since he's taken the position and duties. He has his detractors and vocal opposition and is not loved. Respected by most, but not loved.
