Leaves of Fate: The Ring
Many of the citizens in La Chiave a Croce played with Story Leaves as children. Few, however, know of the cards' origins as the The Leaves. This tarot deck with magical abilities is wielded by Leaf Readers. Drawing cards from the deck by hand or allowing the wind to make a selection are both valid methods of leaf reading. If drawn by the wind, the cards may rest in an assortment of patterns, depending on the questions asked and the will of the cards. The Major Arcana deck is known as the Leaves of Fate. The Minor Arcana have five sets: Leaves of Ash, Hope, Fertility, Sorrow, and Wisdom. Each Minor Arcana set represents a different season.
An influential card in the Major Arcana deck is The Ring, also known as the circle.
