When last seen, Brethicc was in his early 60's and still in good fighting shape albeit with a little bit of a belly.

Personal history

Brethicc Tirenal had a pretty bland childhood.  He ran around the mountains with his friends, learned combat, participated in communal blood rituals, and developed many skills in fine artisan crafts.  His favorite past-time: crafting bloodstone into jewelry, armor, and weaponry.
One day, he left Ordankahl to see what lies outside his mountains.  He spent a good portion of his early years on the Claw Continent as a sell-sword and adventurer. 
During a particularly difficult adventure, he met Zaushen Mordenric.  This tall, lithe, and handsome individual was also part of the cult of necromancers that Brethicc and his party were paid to exterminate.
Before the end of combat, Zaushen saved Brethicc's life.  While his party was still mistrusting of Zaushen's actions, Brethicc was moved and intrigued.  Zaushen joined the party and, over time, the two became inseparable.  They loved discussing their theories and listening to each others' ideas.
After years adventuring together, Zaushen and Brethicc decided to retire in the small town Cirendale where they previously saved the villagers from the nearby woods and their inhabitants. Here, they married and combined their last names. Zaushen Mordenric and Brethicc Tirenal became the Morenals.
They lived happily here for a few decades.  Brethicc did, however, worry.  There were murmurings that the Counsel of Mages were looking to cause a fight with Zaushen.  Believing himself a powerful master of magic, utilizing necromancy, healing magic, and nature magic, Zaushen thought no one on the counsel could touch him.
Zaushen was wrong and Brethicc paid the price. 
Sera Frendl came to Cirendale prepared to curse or kill Zaushen.  She incapacitated him quickly but underestimated Brethicc's abilities.
While Zaushen watched on, completely paralyzed, Brethicc and Sera swapped blows.  Brethicc's final swing impacted after Sera's final spell was cast. 
Sera died.
Brethicc disappeared.

What happened to Brethicc

Sera cursed Brethicc into the body of a mouse and sent his body to another plane of existence. The current location and state of decay of Brethicc's body is unknown.

Personality Characteristics

Motivation

Living in Ordankahl, Brethicc's motivations were focused on spending quality time with his family and acquiring new skills.
During his adventures, Brethicc's motivations shifted; he still wanted to have a good time and acquire skills, but now he desired adventure and a chance to prove his cunning.  He wanted to feel that adrenalin increase with everything new.
In his final decades, Brethicc's primary motivations shifted yet again.  He was pleased with his combat skills and, as long as Zaushen was around, he knew he'd have a good time.  His new adventures were smaller: creating new types of produce with Zaushen and testing out recipes. His heart would skip a beat every time Zaushen reacted to a new dish.  He also found a lot of peace in connecting with a single community again.
