Terra

Compared to our world, Terra is quite different. The world is flat and exists at the intersections of all other planes. If you start at the center of the world and head in any direction eventually you'll reach the boundary of the material plane (or Terra, as most people call it). The center of the world is quite mild with 3 seasons. Because Terra (the material plane) is created from the "collision" of the planes, the further out you go the more dominant an element becomes. Because these interactions are still ongoing the world is actually still growing in size. The directions of the elemental planes are:

• North: Plane of Air. The further north you go the more likely you are to run into floating mountains, giant trees, rolling plains, and high winds.
• East: Plane of Fire. The further east you go the more arid and dry the environment becomes. Extreme east becomes a nearly endless desert.
• South: Plane of Earth. The further south you go the more the land becomes topographically extreme, with mountains and valleys covering the land. Extreme south has the tallest mountains in the world.
• West: Plane of Water. The further west you go the more wet and cold the climate becomes. Extreme west becomes an endless ocean and unrelenting rain.

There are also the non-elemental planes.

• Above: Plane of Dreams . The realm of the Fey and where mortals will see a glimpse of when they sleep.
• Below: Plane of Death . Where souls go to rest when they die.

Geography

Similar to Earth. Approximately 5,000 miles across before you reach planar boundaries. At the edge of the world you encounter terrain and weather that makes traversal difficult. An adventurer who manages to pass through this storm will find themselves in one of the elemental planes.
