Church of the Pale Lady
The Necromancers of the Pale Lady are an independent religious organization that operates on a global scale. The Church has domain over life and death magic and are the only source of magical healing in Terra. However, the Church also oversees death and undeath.
The Church differentiates itself from wizards who practice dark magic to control the undead. Further, they insist that the undead they make are sanctified and call them the unliving (this is mostly PR). The unliving have a glowing brand of the Pale Lady's holy symbol.
/*The necromancers who worship the god of life and death are found in nearly every major city, managing hospitals, graveyards, selling potions and poisons, and commanding their undead minions (though the Church officially calls them unliving for PR reasons). Some necromancers tend to focus more on healing and are much more generous and caring, while others are focused on death, unlife, and undeath. Most people have a general distrust for necromancers and try to avoid them, seeing mundane doctors as a much better choice for your ailments. After all, who wants to be turned into an unliving after you die to help pay for your magical healthcare? An unliving zombie is a process that requires the subject to still be alive to complete. Unliving zombies have limited intelligence, but are able to accept commands from a necromancer in a manner similar to a golem. An unholy undead, one not sanctioned by the church, is created after the subject has died. Unholy undead are considered an abomination to be destroyed on sight. The Church is mostly decentralized with followers with the rank of necromancer being in charge of cities, and master necromancers overseeing a county, the largest counties command armies. The militant arm of the church can command legions of unliving, if needed. The paladins can be found venturing into the necropolis or around the world to stamp out unsanctioned undead and aiding those in plague areas.*/

Divine Origins
The Church was first founded right after the apocalypse and the creation of the Necropolis, when people with necromantic powers first appeared. Many people consider this more than a coincidence and refuse to interact with the Church or even actively persecute them.
Priesthood
The Church is heavily decentralized. To become a Priest is to seek out an apprenticeship with an existing Necromancer. When ones apprenticeship is complete they gain the rank of Necromancer.
Granted Divine Powers
Necromancers use the Divine skill and can cast the following spell effects: Attack, Augment, Barrier, Curse, Heal, Utility. Necromancer may use the Animal Companion talents to instead get an Undead Companion.
