Vomitorus Fass’akabarea (a.k.a. Lightning Lad)
One of the adventuring group Grimm of PACT. This blue kobold developed sorcery powers at a young age. He still has little control over the wild magic that runs through his veins.
Mental characteristics
Born during a horrible electrical storm to a small village of Kobolds in the mountains of central Tellenheim. South of Sword shine lake and between two mighty rivers lies a mountain range with some of the tallest peaks in Tellenheim. Amongst the great cliffs lower parts of the mountains several kobold villages can be found. Fairly well protected by the natural surroundings these kobold societies have flourished in relative peace outside of natural borde skirmishes with each other and the occasional clash among chiefs and rivals. Most of the kobolds descend from an ancient line of red dragons but there are a few families left who descended from blues. By this time the blue kobolds are few in number and are treated much like Albino’s or circus freaks. Accepted but never to be given positions of power or authority. They get the lower jobs and mostly procreate amongst themselves.
Then came the storm. A mighty thunderstorm filled with lightning and wind shot through the mountains over several hours. The village known as Tubutu took the worst of it. A small blue kobold was giving birth at the exact same time, her name was varakabarea. The baby took it’s first breath of air and then the air was rent asunder by a blinding flash and an enormous boom! Most of the village was destroyed immediately and the new mother , baby , and a village elder fled into the night. They crossed the river and went south into the great forest. Varakabarea was dead the next day due to exhaustion and loss of blood. The old kobold kept the baby alive as long as she could until she found a village of Firbolgs. She too expired within a week but the Firbolgs kept the baby kobold alive and cared for him until the age of ten. Named Vom Fass the kobold was adventurous and even reckless. Small even for most kobolds he had blue scaly skin shot through with gold colored scars that looked like small lightning bolts. He often climbed enormous trees with no thought of the consequences, and would attack creatures several times his size with just a spear. The Firbolgs endured this with their endless patience until Vom Fass finally did something they did not expect.
Vom Fass’s sorcerous powers erupted when he was eleven. He was angry at an older Firbolgs who had demanded he attend a nature service at the temple and stop running off into the woods. Vom threw a ball of dirt at the wall of the temple in a fit but the dirt changed. Several of his scars began to glow blue and the dirt from his hand exploded into a wide bolt of lightning that blew down the wall to the temple and injured several inside. The heat from the lightning set the timbers on fire which quickly spread to other wooden buildings. Vom Fass, horrified with what he had done, ran to get a bucket of water but instead of throwing water flames erupted from his arms and the bucket and the water became a flame thrower. Terrified Vom raced off into the forest never to return to the Firbolg forest sanctuary. He eventually learned to control his powers and turn them into spells. Now he wanders Tellenheim looking for adventure and trying to control his elemental powers. He won’t admit it but everytime he tries to cast firebolt it comes out as a random blast of electricity or sometimes stone and even water. On one of his adventures he learns of a strange race called Kuo Toa, that are rumored to have special abilities. He becomes obsessed with the strange little creatures.
Previously employed by the Grand Wizard Agrimor, after the death of his Vom’s Party he ran off and hasn’t been seen since.
Vom Fass back story - Four years ago you and a group of adventurers, much like the ones you travel with now, were contracted to obtain a magic item of great importance. A nobleman from house Quail in Penthos was searching for the Crystal Skull of Hellenox. An item of great magic, it is said that the great magical artificer Anton Orbalann carved it from a shard that fell in a previous shattering. Quail offered you and your companions 3000 gold each for your services and paid you half in advance. There was a contract involved but you paid no attention to the details, you were just a hired gun. You hid the fact that you had virtually no control over your magical powers during that time. As you ventured deep into the dungeon that contained the artifact an imp appeared and gave a great speech. He rambled on and on about his penchant for torturing mortals for his immortal pleasure, usual villain stuff. You tuned out halfway through and then the dungeon changed into a maze full of pinball like traps. Huge spherical stones chased you through hallways, and little creatures buzzed around stinging your backs. Blasts of fire and pyrotechnics kept the party moving from hall to hall as you navigated the maze. As a kobold you broke away from the group and crawled on top of the maze to get a look around. You realized while the imp was distracted with the rest of your party you could see the final room containing the skull. You dashed forward and completed the final puzzle unlocking the skull. The imp (what was his name? Mr. Nux? Nilf?) screamed and expanded in size roaring towards you. In fear and desperation you cast your hand forward and screamed “Lightning bolt!” You are pretty sure no lightning shot forth from you hand but either way the imp screamed and you ran. You ran so fast out of that dungeon with your prize you forgot to look back. You spent the next week looking over your shoulder and when you finally got to Tellenor, exhausted you got a room at an inn. You must have slept for 12 hours straight. When you awoke you noticed the skull was gone! You spent the next month drinking and gambling away your earnings putting you right back to where you were before. Broke and on the run.

History
Nyx once caught Vom Fass and placed him in a haunted tower filled with games and puzzles. Vom Fass was able to heckle the imp enough for the imp to materialize. Nyx threatened him with violence and taunted Vom Fass by telling him he was trapped in the tower forever. Vom Fass deceived Nyx by telling him of a great treasure that he had buried just prior to being trapped in the tower. Nyx demanded the treasure and Vom Fass devised a game of chance using an old card game and got Nyx to bet against Vom’s freedom.
Vom Fass cheated using a card up his sleeve and Nyx set him free assuming he was going to get the treasure as per the deal. Vom Fass used his screwed up sorceror’s powers and attacked Nyx with what he thought was lightning, but it turned out to be a jet of water. Screaming in pain Nyx retreated to the material plane.
