Virgil Capsaicin

Virgilious London Capsaicin (a.k.a. Villy)

Virgil is a former librarian who was polymorphed into a guinea pig.  The spell was true polymorph, and now Virgil is permanently trapped into the body of a guinea pig.  For whatever reason the spell allowed him to retain his mind and personality as well as a slightly more supple body.  He can walk on two legs quite easily and his little front arms and paws have opposable thumbs and excellent dexterity.
Currently he has been captured by Rollion Radecek and taken to his pet store in Westinox.

Psionic Powers

Virgil has three d6 worth of psionic powers. Rolling the d6 is the number of damage or damage reduced by the following power.  Or he can use one of these to establish a psychic link between two creatures that he can see.  The link lasts for one hour.
Protective Field.
 - When you or another creature you can see within 30 feet of you takes damage, you can use your reaction to expend one Psionic Energy die, roll the die, and reduce the damage taken by the number rolled plus your Intelligence modifier (minimum reduction of 1), as you create a momentary shield of telekinetic force.
Psionic Strike. - Virgil can cast a psionic bolt 3X per day. On his turn he can expend one Psionic Energy die, rolling it and dealing force damage to the target equal to the number rolled plus his Intelligence modifier.
Telekinetic Movement. -You can move an object or a creature with your mind. As an action, you target one loose object that is Large or smaller or one willing creature, other than yourself. If you can see the target and it is within 30 feet of you, you can move it up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space you can see. Alternatively, if it is a Tiny object, you can move it to or from your hand. Either way, you can move the target horizontally, vertically, or both. Once you take this action, you can't do so again until you finish a short or long rest, unless you expend a Psionic Energy die to take it again.
Psychic link - Duration 1 hour.  By expending one of his psi dice he can link two creatures minds.  He must be able to see them to establish the link.  Once established the link lasts for one hour no matter where the two creature go.  It does not require concentration.

Personal history

Growing up in Lamborginus, Virgil's parents were a fairly affluent pair of lawyers for the East Tellenheim Company.  He attended university in the city and eventually moved to Allachi to pursue a degree in magical research.  He found himself in the employ of House Quail and his lordship Hellevos Quail.  He soon settled into a low level position at the library in Quail Manor and began to dream of one day creating a new spell.  In his spare time he researched everything he could on magic and who could wield it.  Try as he might though he could never channel enough magical energy to light a candle.
Undeterred he finally found a passage in a book alluding to a strange stone statue that was said to allow anyone the ability to use magic.  It was said to reside in Dalemoor Castle in the Tellenor mountains.  Despite the danger Virgil took a week's vacation and made his way into the dangerous mountains.  He passed through gnoll territory and hid from many wild animals.  He survived a treacherous climb into the mountains and pushed through the bitter cold.  finally after four days he saw the grey walls and spires of Dalemoor castle.  As he found his way into the abandoned castle he saw several ghosts.  Praying to the god Lamborginus he avoided their notice.  This was when he faced his greatest obstacle of all.
As he approached the ancient vault he felt a wave of terror wash over him.  A dragon landed in the courtyard and began to approach the castle.  Passing underneath an archway the shape of the dragon became a kobold man.  The kobold entered the castle with a giddiness, skipping and talking to himself.  It was then that Virgil realized that the kobold and he were after the same thing.
With a new resolve Virgil decided to follow and demand that the kobold allow him to take the prize.  In the vault the pair squared off.  The kobold man introduced himself as the great and powerful Vom Fass, a dragon of some renown.  Virgil, his whole life leading up to this moment, demanded that Vom Fass walk away and leave the object to him.  A spirited and petty argument broke out between the two lasting several minutes.  Insults were exchanged and cutting words sailed through the air.
Remembering himself Vom Fass had an "Ah ha" moment and waggled his fingers.  "I just realized that I am a powerful dragon and sorceror!" he said.  "And you are a librarian."  With that the room became bigger and virgils movements became uncoordinated and strange.  The now huge kobold looked down on him with a grin.  He held the small stone statue in his hands and dangled over Virgils face.  "There, now you won't be needing this at all."
In a blink of an eye the kobold danced off and once more grew into a dragon, flying away into the blue sky.  Virgil panicked at first and found a mirror to see his new form.  A feeling of dread swept through him as he took in his now white and orange fur.  Two dark pink eyes looked back at him and his little paws went up to his cheeks.
