city of Cinders
The City of Cinders is a metropolitan area created by Gith who were trapped in one of the pocket spaces inside the Gem of Amara. Over thousands of years they built a circular walled city. The large walls surrounding the city keep out Rutterkin and Corpse collectors that wander the wastelands outside. The city is traditionally ruled by any person or faction that is strong enough to fend off challengers. Currently it is ruled by a demigod named Bharakos. Bharakos came up through the arena system fighting in the gladatorial games that make up the entertainment for the city. He is unaware of his background and origins he just believes himself to be incredibly strong. His memory loss and overall lack of intelligence makes him susceptible to the whispers of other senators and business leaders who use him for their own ends.
Currently Bharakos is threatened by a Cadousar named Fauxdgie Da Wail. He has a small army of thugs that serve him and the only thing standing in the way of him grabbing absolute power is the Grand master. Wail also has an actual Devil in his employ that he has made dangerous promises to. The Devil is responsible for crafting the red collars that act as power dampeners. The only way to break their power is to use Radiant Damage. There is a device in the Devil's workshop which will also release the collars.
