Stormwake Mountains

A towering mountain range that rises abruptly out of the ocean on the eastern coast of Bendhaven, these mountains serve as a barrier against the ocean's violent winter storms.

Geography

Continuously capped in snow and ice, these rocky peaks have little vegetation on their higher slopes. Steep and inaccessible in most places, the Stormwake mountains restrict access to the ocean, except in a few places where rivers flow through. The lower shoulders of the mountains are covered in conifers and scrub brush. The western slopes of the mountains are relatively dry, only receiving regular rain in the fall and winter, as heavy, cold, rainfall from winter storms is pushed over the top of the mountains.

Natural Resources

Copper and silver are found in these mountains.
