The Faceless

An elite special forces unit, designed specifically to hunt out remnants of the Bionic Technocracy and Vengeant Bionican.

Members of this unit are hard to replace, given the Varish post-war ethos and generally pacifist outlook to violence. However, there are members of society who remember the threat of destruction from the past.

Those that volunteer themselves are put through rigorous training to operate within the heavily-armoured Warcase suits that inspired the naming of the unit.

Usually dropped outside of scanning range of an outpost, manufacturing facility or perceived enemy base; The Faceless march upto the front door, weathering all manner of incoming fire from defensive batteries. Fighting their way through armies of various droid chassis, The Faceless will decimate all manufacturing capabilities and destroy all remaining forces; unless capture has been designated for any Bi-on generals that may exist.

History

Following the averted disaster perpetrated by the Bionic Technocracy, despite the Varish being a species beyond war, the need for a dedicated military function was realised.

The remaining members of Virus were allowed access to materials and funding. Understanding the need to hunt and exterminate any remaining remnants that were loyal to the Bionic Technocracy and their xenophobic ideals, The Faceless were created.
