The central portion of Whitehaven Harbor is largely paved with cobblestones providing easy travel between various temples, taverns, shops, and merchant class homes.

The city itself rises up from the edge of the harbor, encircled by a tall curtain wall dotted with modest turrets and domes. The central area of Whitehaven is characterized by grey cobblestone paths and simple squat stone structures. The city seems to embrace the harbor with a utilitarian charm; many buildings are built right up to the water's edge, often sharing a foundation with the Harbor's Boardwalk.
Farther into the city, the winding cobblestone paths are lined by the wooden doors of temples, shops, taverns, and homes of wealthy merchants. The crowds of pedestrians and simple carts is thick throughout most of the day and groups of young children at play can be seen chasing each other through the streets. After nightfall, traffic within the city dies down to almost nothing as most of the population retire to the comfort of taverns or their own homes.
At the North end of the City sector piercing the protective cutrain wall stand two large gatehouses leading up into the Outskirts.
