Saffena

The town of Saffena is located on a SkyLand that is situated above the Jade Creek. One SkyBridge end is on the east side of the river, the other is on the west side. This particular town specializes in making wine, though they also make some fine cheeses. Both ends of the SkyBridge have been cultivated, primarily with grapes, though they do have some areas that are fenced off for the dotted yaks that they use for dairy purposes.

Demographics

Population is made primarily of Ahsness, Humans, and mixed-species crosses between the two.

Infrastructure

The city is located on a SkyLand with a building or two at each end of the bridge.

The water from the central spring has been routed down the SkyBridges to feed the crops, animals and families living there.

Districts

The baron's manor is rather extensive here and, rather unusually, is located on the western SkyBridge. Though he does also have a house on the SkyLand, he is rarely there. As usual, there is a plaza for market day, a few small shops and homes for the residents who are not living on the SkyBridges.

There is one small, but well-built dock on the eastern side of the Jade Creek for fishing and the occasional trading boat.

Geography

The town of Saffena is located in the western edge of the Dotted Yaklands straddling the Jade Creek.
