Magic Storage - Metal

In Suveon, magic can be found in abundance in different locations. Most people are familiar with the generous flow of magic generated by a Ley Loop. However, there are numerous areas in the world where there is no magic. In order to use magic in the mundane lands, it is necessary to use stored magic.

One of the most efficient ways to store magic is to use metal. The more dense the metal is, the more magic it can hold making gold the best metal magic storage medium. In order from strongest to weakest the storage metals are: Gold, Silver, then Copper. Other metals can store magic, but it is considerably weaker. Gold storage of the same size is five times more efficient than Silver and 15 times more efficient than Copper. (See sidebar.)

In order for the magic to be activated in a piece of metal storage, the metal must be engraved with a Glyph. As long as the glyph is activated, it will continue to use magic from the device until it is either deactivated or all the magic is depleted.

A device needs to be in a Ley Loop (or other high-magic area) for at least eight hours to completely charge.
